Analyst, US Securities Settlements

Location : Bedford, NS - Hybrid (1 to 2 days a expected in office per weeK)

Contract Length : 4 Months with Possibility of extension.

What will you do? (there is lots more on this…in a nutshell…)

• Responsible for settlement of FX related wires and securities movements.
• Monitor for exceptions and take necessary actions to avoid fails.
• Monitor inbox and handle inbound requests and coordination with counterparties and other internal teams.
• Responsible for some reconciliation work to resolve breaks.
• Work constructively in a team environment.
• Aid in managing volumes and organizing workflow.
• Remain up to date on a number of desks so as to be able to back fill throughout the year.
• Possess good knowledge of the products and systems.
• Required to accomplish daily responsibilities.
• Ensures adherence to policies, procedures, standards and guidelines instructions and ensures processes and controls are in place to minimize operations risk.
• On an ongoing basis will assist Manager, US Securities.
• Settlements with any ad hoc requirements / tasks.
• Time Allocation.
