About the role :
At Compass ELC you will work as a Program Cleaner at our new program opening in Kirkfield, Ontario. You will spend your time cleaning and maintaining the environment, spaces, and materials within our program. You will model and grow a perspective of equity and strive for a deeper understanding of cultural awareness. Hours will be based on the program's needs and funding. You will work 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday evenings and weekends as needed.
Key Responsibilities :
- Working as part of a team with Coworkers.
- Demonstrating respect for spaces by ensuring the safety and cleanliness of all equipment, furniture, and materials.
- Daily cleaning of the spaces that are being used during the day; including mopping, dusting, sanitizing, disinfecting and steam cleaning.
- You have a clear knowledge of the cleaners, disinfectants, and sanitizers being used.
- Strong communication skills with program leads to ensure that all health and safety standards are met.
