Pre-Engagement Requirements
Due to the safety-sensitive nature of the work and its associated responsibilities, all contractors must meet the following pre-engagement requirements :
Completion of both a drug and alcohol screening, as well as a Canadian Police Information Centre (CPIC) criminal check, is mandatory before any work can begin. These screenings will be arranged by the company and must be successfully passed for the contract to proceed.
If you have a prior conviction, the CPIC check will return as incomplete, at which point an RCMP Certified Criminal Record Check will be required. As obtaining an RCMP Certified Criminal Record Check can take considerable time, we strongly recommend initiating the process as early as possible to avoid delays. The RCMP Check must be issued within the last 30 days and provided at your own expense before the contract can commence.
Please note that the Contractor agreement is contingent upon the successful completion of all required screenings. Additionally, all documents outlined in the Master Service Agreement (MSA) must be submitted before any work can begin. Failure to meet these requirements may result in a delay or cancellation of the contract.
