The Toronto office is looking for an Engineering Designer to join their Mechanical team in a full-time permanent basis. The Emissions Control Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and to develop innovative solutions for emissions and odour reduction. The successful candidate will also be responsible for staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in odour and emissions control technologies and applying this knowledge to improve existing systems.
Duties :
- Assist with air emission calculations, including mass balance, and dispersion.
- Design of odour control systems including mechanical, electrical and instrumentation and control aspects.
- Preparation of portions of technical reports and approval proposals.
- Conduct site visits and field activities for projects within and outside Ontario.
- Condition assessment of existing equipment.
- Demolition and sequence of construction planning.
- Review, understand and interpret provincial and federal acts and regulations
- Participation in contract administration services and inspections of odour control systems.
- Other duties as required.
