School Bus Driver Contract Opportunity
At Southpointe Academy, we believe that every individual who supports our school community plays an important role in helping students arrive safely, ready to learn, and inspired to achieve. Located in beautiful South Delta, our school is a welcoming community of caring professionals dedicated to excellence each day.
Southpointe Academy is a leading IB Continuum School serving over 700 students from Kindergarten to Grade 12. Our commitment to academic excellence, character development, and community spirit is reflected in our modern facilities and ongoing 75,000 sq. ft. campus expansion.
We are inviting experienced and safety-minded School Bus Drivers to partner with our Transportation Department on a contract basis to provide transportation services for our students. Working in collaboration with the Transportation Manager, contracted drivers help ensure safe, reliable, and comfortable travel to and from school and extracurricular activities.
This opportunity is available to start as soon as possible, with morning and afternoon routes during the school week and occasional evening assignments.
Qualifications and Experience
- Valid Class 1, 2, or 4 Drivers Licence (air brake endorsement preferred)
- Clean Drivers Abstract
- Demonstrated record of safe, dependable, and professional driving
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work cooperatively with students, staff, and families
- Basic digital literacy for attendance scanning and route communication
Engagement Details
6 : 30 a.m. 8 : 30 a.m. and 2 : 45 p.m. 4 : 45 p.m.
