We collaborate with various government and community partners, including mandates from the Youth Protection Directorate (DPJ).We are currently seeking a criminologist for a field mandate in Northern Quebec, in partnership with the DPJ of Hudson, to conduct assessments, apply protective measures, and support families in a youth protection context.Main ResponsibilitiesReceive and analyze cases related to youth protection and juvenile delinquency.Assess the psychosocial and criminological needs of youth and their families.Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to the identified situations.Apply protective measures and recommendations from the court or institutional partners.Ensure regular follow-up with youth, families, and local stakeholders.Participate in court hearings and meetings with justice system partners.Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams and community resources.Write clinical reports, assessments, and recommendations according to CISSS de la Baie-James / DPJ Hudson requirements.Required ProfileActive member of the Ordre des criminologues du Québec (OCQ).Minimum relevant experience in criminology, youth protection, or social intervention.Ability to adapt to remote and intercultural environments.Strong analytical, writing, and organizational skills.Autonomy, professional rigor, and impeccable ethics.Fluency in spoken and written French (bilingualism is an asset).Conditions and BenefitsTurnkey contract including accommodation, transportation, and per diem.Access to remote clinical supervision.Stimulating and rewarding client base and work context.Possibility of mandate renewal based on needs.Ongoing administrative and clinical support from L'Alliée-Éducation.Employment TypeFull-timeFixed-term contract (duration based on DPJ mandate - possibility of extension)Work LocationNorthern QuebecAccommodation provided + full logistical support
