Hiring for CASUAL Before and After School Care Assistant
The Chilliwack School District is looking for enthusiastic, qualified before and after School Care Assistant who would be required to be available Monday - Friday to replace employees who are absent for less than six months earning a wage of $28.15 per hour.
If you have a Highschool Diploma and you are a Responsible Adult / RA

- Please note that a "Responsible Adult / RA", in the childcare licensing regulation (the law) says : To qualify for employment in a community care facility as a responsible adult, a person must (a) be at least 19 years of age, (b) be able to provide care and mature guidance to children, (c) have completed a course, or a combination of courses, of at least 20 hours duration in child development, guidance, health and safety, or nutrition, and (d) have relevant work experience.

Please Note : This position occurs before and after school. If the successful applicant is already a permanent employee with SD33 they will not work more than eight (8) hours per day / 40 hours per week, in a combined number of positions unless overtime is pre-authorized by the employee's immediate Supervisor.
