Job description

The Team

At the Ministry and Children and family Development (MCFD) you’ll join a supportive and experienced team of clinicians who bring diverse skills and collaborate closely to provide the best care for children and youth. Our team of five includes four generalists, a part-time Integrated Practice Clinician, and a team leader. We value ongoing learning and consultation, with a focus on inclusive, culturally responsive care. Together, we’re making a real impact in the lives of families in our community.

The Role

As a Children and Youth Mental Health Clinician you’ll provide intake, assessment, and evidence-based treatment for children and youth facing moderate to severe mental health challenges. You’ll collaborate with caregivers and other care providers to create tailored treatment plans, supporting families to reduce symptoms of mental illness and providing a positive impact on the entire community. With exciting opportunities for ongoing learning and professional development, this meaningful role allows you to make a real difference in the lives of those you serve while being part of a supportive team in a beautiful community.
