Operate equipment and assist with the organization of the equipment in the yard. Maintain clean physical facilities. Assist drivers with loading and unloading equipment. Check equipment for damage upon return, report damage and fill out service tags for all returned equipment. Tag and move broken equipment to repair area. Offer a helping hand with your co-workers Assist with delivery of parts What You’ll Bring to the Team Qualifications and Requirements : A minimum of 2 years of prior experience operating or working around construction equipment would be an asset. A forklift license or other equipment operation certificate would be considered an asset, but are not required. Valid Class G Driver’s license with a clean or satisfactory driver’s abstract (no more than three demerit points). You will be required to provide a copy of your updated driver’s abstract upon request Self-starter, very customer-service oriented and works well in a team environment Thrives in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines Comfortable with computers Must be able to lift up to approximately 50 lbs Mechanical aptitude is an asset Must be comfortable working outdoors Excellent problem-solving skills Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to converse with colleagues, customers, and other parties in a professional and courteous manner Pride in what you do Want to learn more about this as well as other opportunities at Cooper?
