Job descriptionDegree or post-diploma from an accredited Medical Radiation Technology program Current member of the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) M.R.T(R) in good standing Current membership with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) Experience working in a hospital environment within the last 1 year, performing medical imaging procedures and cross-functional / site activities Proficient in caring for and assessing patients with acute and critical conditions Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills capable of working independently and as a part of an interdisciplinary team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to demonstrate compassion, and professionalism to deliver quality patient-centered care Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification : Level II - Basic Rescuer Certification and N95 Mask Fit Test Certificate Proof of current immunization for measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (MMRV), tetanus, pertussis, polio, hepatitis B Proof of negative TB skin test within the past year or negative chest x-ray within the past five years Willing to undergo Vulnerable Sector Police Check as a condition of hire
Carecor is looking for dedicated and compassionate Medical Radiation Technologists.
The successful candidate will provide care according to the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) and the healthcare clinic where assigned. You will be helping to foster an environment of optimal physical, social, and emotional well-being for patient's while providing exemplary patient care. For each assignment, you will be in one location for a full 8 hour shift.
