The position we offer you is within the communication-writing unit of the Marketing, Communication and Implementation team (a.k.a. the best team in the world!) in the individual insurance, savings and retirement sector.
Here are the challenges we invite you to take on :
Write French communications that ensure the visibility of our products and services to our distribution networks (advisors) and customers (e.g., mass emails, blog articles, PPT presentations, online forms);
Develop, recommend and deploy promotional, informational and / or operational communication plans adapted to the target audiences and the chosen communication channels;
Popularize and ensure the clarity of content to offer an optimal and consistent experience to customers and advisors and ensure the consistency of messages with the company's priorities and objectives;
Promote and participate in the maintenance and protection of the company's brand image by respecting the tone and personality of iA’s brand (tone and manner);
Together with your colleagues, you will work to align strategies and practices across the larger marketing team to drive consistency and operational efficiency.
Your qualifications :
You have a bachelor's degree in communications, professional writing or translation;
You have at least 8 years of experience as a communications consultant or writer;
You know the rules of French like the back of your hand;
You know how to create high-quality, impactful and original content in French;
You have impeccable French writing skills;
You know how to develop and deploy effective communication plans based on requirements and targets;
You are familiar with the principles of web writing and change management concepts;
You enjoy participating in the design of content strategies that help the promotion of products and services and financial literacy;
You have an intermediate level of English as you will need to participate in team meetings in English and work with English-speaking colleagues from across Canada. About once a day you will have to communicate orally in English.
You stand out for your rigour, your sharp sense of organization and your resourcefulness;

You have experience as part of a marketing team;
You are familiar with the financial services and insurance industry;

You are accredited by the Société québécoise de rédaction professionnelle.
Note : This is a French writing position. Interviewees will also be required to complete a writing test.
