Occupational Therapist - Hawkesbury region

Job Summary :

We are seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team at CBI Home Health in the Hawkesbury region. This role offers flexibility in scheduling for virtual and in-person work, allowing for a balance between work and personal life.

As an Occupational Therapist, you will be part of an interdisciplinary team providing person-centered, collaborative care to clients in the community. You will help clients achieve their goals through face-to-face visits or virtual care technology.

Responsibilities :

Provide OT interventions, including ADL / IADL strategies, equipment recommendations, and home modifications.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver care and services.
Support a restorative approach to health, offering interventions, health coaching, and self-management support.
Utilize digital platforms for care delivery, collaboration, documentation, and intervention.

Requirements :

Registered member in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.

Ability to travel within the Hawkesbury area (valid driver’s license and insurance required).

Client-focused with passion and empathy.

Excellent critical thinking and communication skills.

Bilingual language skills in English and French.
