Job Description
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive health, safety, and disability management policies and procedures
- Oversee disability cases, including accommodations, modified work arrangements, and return-to-work planning
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and stay current on industry trends
- Liaise with medical professionals, third-party administrators, and insurers to coordinate and manage disability claims
- Provide guidance and education to leaders and employees on health, safety, and disability-related policies, rights, and responsibilities
- Track and report on health, safety, and disability metrics, costs, and outcomes, identifying opportunities for process improvements
- Serve as the primary point of contact for health, safety, and disability-related inquiries and escalations
