SALARY RANGE : $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 CAD
LOCATION : Offshore Newfoundland, Canada
TYPE OF RIG : Floatel Endurance; Semi-Submersible Accommodation and Construction Support Vessel (ASV)
ROTATION : 28 / 28
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT : Contract, Full Time
CONTRACT : Short Term Contract; Estimate Seven (7) Months
NUMBER OF POSITIONS : One (1)
JOB SUMMARY : The role of the Repairman II is to carry out all tasks and duties as directed by the First Engineer or their nominee thereby enabling the Engine Department to operate in a safe and efficient manner.
PRE- REQUISITES / QUALIFICATIONS :
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Canadian Engine Room Rating or STCW III / 4 Equivalent
- General Knowledge of Welding
- 1 Year Experience as a Repairman or Similar Position
- 1 Year Offshore Experience
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English
- Must pass Physical, Drug Screen and Background / Pre-Employment Screening Checks
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
The Repairman II is to ensure that all their tasks and duties are carried out in a safe and efficient manner using relevant safety equipment.
