Adecco is currently hiring a Metal Fabricator for a full-time opportunity in Halifax, NS. This role is ideal for a skilled trades professional with strong metal fabrication and welding experience who enjoys working in a shipyard or industrial environment.

- Salary: $47/hour + $3/hr night shift premium + $175/day LOA + $220/week travel allowance + $600 relocation bonus
- Location: Halifax, NS
- Schedule: Rotating shifts (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM / 4:30 PM - 1:00 AM / 5:00 PM - 1:00 AM)

Responsibilities- Operate hand and power tools to cut, shape, and fabricate metal parts
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
- Measure and mark metal components using precision tools
- Weld or join parts using MIG, TIG, or ARC welding techniques
- Operate cranes or forklifts to move heavy materials when required
- Perform quality inspections to ensure all products meet specifications
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on schedule
Qualifications- Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada
- Red Seal or Registered Apprenticed Fabricator certification
- Previous experience as a Metal Fabricator or Shipfitter
- Proficient in MIG, TIG, or ARC welding and metalworking techniques
- Ability to read technical drawings and perform accurate measurements
- Must be eligible to work in Canada and have lived in Canada for at least 5 years
- Must be able to lift, carry, and set up equipment up to 50 lbs
- Pre-employment physical required
- Fit-tested respirator mask and full PPE required
- Ability to work in confined spaces and commute daily to site
- Valid Confined Space and Fall Protection tickets
- Must meet requirements for Canadian Government Security clearance
