Overview
As the Director, Finance, you will be responsible for assessing the team’s processes and procedures to implement improvements and efficiencies as well as review and give proper guidelines. Reporting to the CFOO and a member of the Leadership Team, you will be responsible for overseeing all finance functions including financial controls, reporting, treasury, compliance and financial / business planning and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the final review and timely issuance of complete monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and any other required management status reports
- Oversee the preparation of Management’s monthly reporting package and analysis of variances
- Leads annual audits and any required government tax audits with the accounting firm
- Lead the annual budget process and forecasting processes
- Ensure cross-functional coordination of budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and cost improvement efforts
- Assist in 3-year strategic planning process and modeling
- Monitors debt levels and compliance with debt covenants and associated reporting to bankers
- Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
- Ensures adherence to established FX policy that will minimize the effects of adverse exchange rate fluctuations on the financial position of the company
- Maintains and enforces a documented system of accounting policies and procedures to comply with professional standards
- Maintains a system of controls over accounting transactions
- Manages and develops the Accounting team through performance management, skill development and training
