In addition Maccess strives to advocate on the behalf of students in a proactive and affirmative fashion and provide educational programming on and opportunities to learn about critical disability studies.

The Volunteer & Training Coordinator will be responsible for organizing the recruitment of new volunteers as well as the scheduling and coordination of volunteers and executives. The Volunteer & Training Coordinator will work with the Maccess Assistant Director to create a supportive community of volunteers who will help facilitate maintain and advertise the Maccess space social events workshops and campaigns. The Volunteer & Training Coordinator will also coordinate with executive members well in advance of events and campaigns to organize volunteers in a thoughtful and resourceful way. The Volunteer & Training Coordinator will work with the Maccess Assistant Director and the MSUs Training Resources Research Assistant to design and facilitate training for Maccess volunteers.
