At this time, we are looking for an exceptional, experienced VP of Finance to contribute to the global success of Fibracast by joining our distinguished management team. Working with the CFO and a team of 2 accountants, you will deliver accurate, complete, timely and meaningful financial reporting, budget to actual analytics, forecasting and other financial analyses to the business to ensure transparency and awareness to drive informed decision making and achievement of budgeted results. You will be responsible for overseeing all accounting and finance operations processes ensuring accuracy, compliance and effective collaboration with the business. The is a key role in the business and an excellent opportunity to be mentored by a fractional CFO with the objective to develop and become the CFO over the course of time and, to join a tremendous team of leaders who are driving the global growth plans for Fibracast.

Financial Oversight

• Deliver accurate, complete. and timely financial reporting in accordance with ASPE at the consolidated, department level and project levels. Conduct detailed review of monthly financial statements and supporting workbooks prepared by the finance team.
• Ensure accounting and financial operations processes are operating accurately, in compliance with the expected procedures, and smoothly in collaboration with the business. These processes include the purchase order to pay, payroll (Canadian and USA), time entry, collections, inventory accounting, expense report, corporate credit card and month end closing processes.
• Work cross functionally with all departments to provide timely monthly and year to date financial results with variances to budget analytics to drive awareness and corrective action to achieve budgets
• Maintain accounting policies and procedures and ensure internal controls are enforced
• Work with the CFO in the update of the financial forecast model, designed to forecast the results of the consolidated company’s P&L, cash flow and balance sheet out 12-18 months
• Support the CFO in the preparation of quarterly financial reports and packages to the board of directors
• Provide required reporting to shareholders, banks and other stakeholders as required
• Work closely with the CFO to prepare the annual budget partnering closely with the business
• Ensure the audit is completed in an efficient and orderly fashion. Ensure auditors are provided requested materials in a timely manner.
• Review payroll in details each pay period to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Support maintenance of dataroom as needed.
