Job description
Registered Practical Nurse – Emergency
Location : Northern Ontario
Rate : $60 / hour
Our client is seeking Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs) to join their Emergency Department in Northern Ontario . This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment, providing urgent care to patients with a wide range of medical needs.
About the Role
The Emergency RPN will assess, monitor, and support patients in critical and urgent care situations, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. This role requires strong clinical skills, adaptability, and the ability to prioritize multiple patient assignments efficiently.
Requirements
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
- Current BLS certification
- IV Therapy certification with demonstrated competency
- Blood Glucose Monitoring certification
- Willingness to do some shifts in LTC
