Position : Capital Projects Manager

Compensation : $85k to $105k annually (Commensurate with experience)
Schedule : 8 : 30am-4 : 30pm, Monday-Friday (75 hours bi-weekly)

Primary Objectives :
The Capital Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of capital improvement projects across our residential properties. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong project management skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction or capital project management and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Project Management
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets for multiple and concurrent capital improvement projects of varying degrees of scope and complexity.
- Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
- Monitor project expenditures and ensure projects are completed within budget.
- Ensure all projects meet quality standards and comply with relevant regulations and codes.
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on project status, budget, and any issues that arise.
- Collaborate with Pacifica Housing’s procurement specialists to engage the necessary consultants and trades to undertake capital projects.
- Oversee and coordinate the municipal permit applications as required.
- Review of supplied drawings and project specifications for operational and / or technical concerns.
