Our team of Supply Chain and Logistics experts speaks your language and operates in your world.We are looking for a Maintenance Buyer / Planner for our client in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu.Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for the following tasks : - Research parts on the Internet and with our various suppliers;- Maintain long-term relationships with our suppliers;- Make price requests in order to establish comparisons;- Place orders based on work orders and parts lists recommended by our equipment suppliers;- Enter transactions (purchase orders) into the ERP system;- Participate in departmental planning meetings;- Negotiate agreements for recurring contracts and ensure their smooth operation;- Support the maintenance team in inventory and warehouse management;Skills required : - Degree relevant to the position- Experience in purchasing / warehouse and maintenance management (strong asset);- Fluency in English and French (spoken and written) (asset);- Mastery of the Office suite and facility with internet searches;- ERP experience (asset);- Excellent communication skills;- Sense of initiative and proactivity;- Creativity and interest in continuous improvement.
