Job description
OTS is looking to build their pool of qualified candidates in a variety of trades. We are currently accepting applications for Journeyman Commissioning Technicians in anticipation of upcoming projects for the 2024-2025 season.
We are building our team of skilled tradespeople for potential future work. If you are a Journeyman Electrician, Instrument Technician, Millwright, E&I or Pipefitter and experienced in pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up activities apply today!
As a Commissioning Technician, you will play a crucial role in the start-up, testing, and verification of newly installed equipment and systems. Your responsibilities will involve ensuring that all systems are operational and meet the required specifications of our clients. You will collaborate with other technicians, engineers, and project management teams to deliver high-quality results.
Duties
- Electrical and instrumentation pre commissioning, commissioning and start up of systems;
- Mechanical system commissioning, including pipe fitting and millwright work;
- Safety compliance and quality assurance during start-up and commissioning phases;
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues during all phases of the commissioning project.
- Tasks and responsibilities could vary depending on project specifications.
