Position Summary:
Maison d'Étude Academy is seeking a qualified and experienced tutors to provide in-person academic support to high school students in Montreal, QC. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, proven teaching or tutoring experience, and the ability to inspire confidence and curiosity in their students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide in-person, one-on-one tutoring.
- Reinforce core concepts through targeted practice, assignments, and supplementary resources.
- Maintain ongoing communication with students' families regarding progress and goals.
- Accurately log sessions and notes using our internal scheduling system.
- Support students in developing independent study habits and long-term academic skills.
Qualifications:
- University degree in a relevant field (Education preferred).
- Minimum 1–2 years of tutoring or teaching experience.
- Strong knowledge of Quebec curriculum standards.
- Bilingual (English/French) preferred.
- Professionalism, reliability, and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to provide in-person support in the Montreal area.
- Police background check required.
