Job Details :

Location : 16, Lancaster Road, Moose Jaw, SK

Working Hours : 35 weekly hours

Scheduled Shift : full-time, Monday-Sunday availability required; exact schedule varies depending upon needs (35 hours guaranteed)

Pay rate : $20.58 per hour

The Courier picks up and delivers customer packages to meet daily pick-up and delivery schedules and resolves problems as they arise.

Responsibilities

Pick up and deliver customer packages to meet daily pick-up and delivery schedules

Scan packages / mail as it is received, delivered, or returned to the depot at the end of the day

Resolve problems as they arise while on the road in collaboration with Dispatch and customers

Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections using a package scanner and electronic-Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (E-DVIR)

Requirements

• Valid non-probationary Driver's License
• Clean Driving Abstract (please upload a current driver's abstract with your resume)
• Must successfully pass written & road test(s)
• Must successfully pass Defensive Driving course
• Must successfully pass Courier Methods training course
• Ability to read maps; Good sense of geographical direction
• Courier methods training and / or work related experience
• Proper scan and load techniques
• Ability to lift and / or carry up to 70 lbs.
• Successfully complete a criminal record check and employment verification to qualify
• Obtain a clear Police Clearance Certificate when required

Experience

3 years of driving experience and clean driver’s abstract to drive delivery vehicles.
