Job Description

This position is in the Nanaimo area on Vancouver Island, please do not apply if you are not located on Vancouver Island. This is a physically demanding job, you must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds up and down multiple flights of stairs multiple times per day.

Experience as a delivery driver is not required , we will train the right candidates. We are currently hiring full time responsible Delivery Drivers using world-class technology in our safe, reliable vans.

Your Responsibilities :

Successfully handle and deliver Ecommerce packages to customers
Comply with company procedures, policies, attendance requirements, and safety standards
Operate company vehicle to local customer locations as scheduled in timely, efficient manner
Ability to safely climb in and out of vehicle, navigate stairs often
Deliver packages in all weather conditions
Lift a maximum of 50 lbs repeatedly during a 10 hour work shift
Handle challenging workload and help other drivers as needed
Ability to function calmly and efficiently in high-pressure, multi-tasking environment
Follow GPS navigation

Work Schedule :

Only full time positions are available

Typical work schedule is 10 hours per day, 40 to 50 hours per week

11 am start time, this may change

Drivers generally work 5 days per week including weekends

Job Type and Salary :

Full time

$24.80 per hour

Paid training

Daily and Weekly Overtime

Qualifications

A positive can do attitude

5 years of driving experience & authorized to work in Canada

A valid class 5 British Columbia driver’s license

Able to speak and read English

Must be flexible with work schedules, including weekends

Must successfully pass driving records check and criminal background check
