Inventory Management : Ensure the mobile truck is stocked with the necessary products, monitor inventory levels, and coordinate restocking as needed. Relationship Building : Foster strong, long-term partnerships with construction professionals, contractors, and industrial accounts by understanding their project needs and offering tailored solutions. Product Expertise : Provide knowledgeable advice about the company’s range of construction products, including power tools, fasteners, abrasives and safety supplies. Problem Solving : Address customer concerns or questions on the spot, ensuring a high standard of service. Strong knowledge of construction and industrial products, such as tools, fasteners, abrasives and safety supplies. A proven ability to engage clients, estimate pricing, and recommend tailored solutions. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is essential. Physical stamina to handle lifting (up to 50 lbs) and frequent movement during truck operations. This role operates out of the company’s mobile truck, equipped with POS capabilities and inventory storage. The position involves working independently while servicing a pre-determined customer route.

Job Summary : As the Outside Route Sales Representative, you will be the face of the company, driving a fully equipped mobile truck with inventory and a point-of-sale (POS) system to service a designated route in Barrie and surrounding areas. Your role will be a blend of sales, customer relationship management, and logistical efficiency, ensuring clients have convenient access to essential construction supplies.
