As a Site Superintendent specializing in the construction of electrical substations and energy networks, your mission will be to effectively supervise on-site operations to ensure the safe and efficient completion of electrical projects.
Your Responsibilities
Construction Supervision :
Direct and supervise daily activities on the construction site.
Ensure compliance of work with project plans and specifications.
Coordinate work teams, including subcontractors and suppliers.
Quality and Safety Management :
Implement and monitor safety procedures on the construction site.
Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations in force.
Conduct regular inspections to identify and correct safety and quality issues.
Planning and Coordination :
Develop and maintain the construction schedule.
Coordinate material deliveries and logistics on site.
Collaborate with the client and stakeholders.
Human Resources Management :
Supervise, train and evaluate the performance of site team members.
Foster a positive and productive work environment.
Manage conflicts and resolve human resources issues on the site.
Budget Monitoring and Reporting :
Monitor project costs and ensure efficient use of resources.
Prepare regular reports on progress, costs and issues encountered.
Participate in site meetings and project coordination meetings.
Requirements
Significant experience (10-15 years) in site management, ideally in the construction of electrical substations.
Significant experience (5 years) in site personnel management.
In-depth knowledge of safety standards and construction regulations.
Valid driver’s license (travel to sites throughout the province of Quebec to be expected).
