Overview

Brandt is currently seeking a Business Development Manager for our Mississauga Brand Peterbilt location.

This position will be responsible for supporting equipment sales through financing and finance program development, while achieving sales growth and profitability of the Division. Managing and developing the staff across Canada will also be a responsibility.

The Business Development Manager plays a key role in driving the success of Brandt Finance by supporting equipment sales through innovative financing solutions and program development. This position is responsible for achieving divisional sales growth and profitability targets while managing and developing a team of Retail Finance

Managers across Ontario and Saskatchewan. The ideal candidate will combine strong leadership with a deep understanding of sales strategy and customer-focused finance solutions to foster long-term success for the company, customers, and employees.

What You Will Be Responsible For

  • Lead, manage, and develop Retail Finance Managers within Brandt Finance’s Transportation Team, fostering a high performing, engaged team aligned with organizational goals
  • Drive sales and market share growth to achieve established business objectives and ensure the long-term success of the division
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to design and enhance finance programs that support equipment sales and customer retention
  • Monitor market trends and competitive activity, providing strategic insights and recommendations to strengthen Brandt Finance’s market position
  • Partner with the Director of Business Development to manage divisional operations and ensure alignment with overall corporate strategy
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal sales teams, external partners, and customers to promote financing solutions and business growth
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and customer service excellence within the Brandt Finance division
  • Other duties as assigned

What We Look For

  • Proven sales experience, preferably within the transportation industry
  • Demonstrated success in a leadership or management role, with the ability to coach and develop high-performing teams
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to identify opportunities, analyze market conditions, and implement effective growth strategies
  • Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Valid driver’s license and recent driver’s abstract required
  • Minimum five years transportation industry experience and a related post secondary degree are considered an asset
