FUCHS offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience in a similar position. The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000 per year, but actual salary will vary depending upon a new hire’s experience and qualifications as well as internal equity.
Your Responsibilities :
The Supply Chain Planner works out of our Canadian offices in Cambridge, ON, or Langley, BC, and reports to the Supply Chain Director.
This role is a temporary position with a 14-month duration.
This individual will be responsible for successfully leading and communicating the supply plan to operations, and achieving on-time and in-full support of customer orders and / or stocking requirements.
Specific responsibilities will include, but are not limited to :
- Production Planning : Develop and maintain detailed production schedules for FUCHS Canada's blending facilities, taking into account factors such as customer demand, production capacity, and resource availability.
- Collaborate with 3rd party site operations to coordinate production, maintain inventory, and facilitate process improvement initiatives with Toll Blenders.
- Inventory Management : Monitor inventory levels and trends, ensuring optimal stock levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess or obsolete inventory.
- Demand Forecasting : Collaborate with sales teams to gather and analyze demand forecasts, incorporating market trends and customer feedback into production plans.
- Order Coordination : Coordinate with toll blenders, production teams, and other stakeholders to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of finished goods.
- Communication : Maintain effective communication with cross-functional teams, providing updates on production schedules, inventory levels, and potential risks or delays.
- Data Analysis : Utilize data analysis tools and software to assess production and inventory performance, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven recommendations.
- Capacity Planning : Assess production capacity and constraints, working with manufacturing teams to optimize efficiency and throughput.
- Continuous Improvement : Identify and implement process improvements in production and inventory management to enhance overall supply chain efficiency.
