Group Summary

The Magna Exteriors portfolio of products includes access systems such as liftgates, exterior trim, modular systems, front-end modules including fascia, active aerodynamic systems and other lightweight structural components for automotive, commercial truck and other industrial markets. Job Responsibilities

Qualifications Necessary to Do the Job

• Graduate of a recognized Engineering program or related technical program at College / University level
• 3-5 years of related experience in an industrial environment
• 2 years’ experience in time and motion direct labour measurement
• Experience with product and process flow development.
• Experience in PFMEA development.
• Plant layout experience required
• Must have excellent teambuilding and leadership skills
• Proven understanding of lean manufacturing concepts, mechanical equipment and processes
• Excellent organization, problem solving and decision-making skills
• Must have proven negotiating skills combined with the ability to handle stressful situations professionally
• Must be self-motivated and able to carry projects through to completion
• Excellent communication and presentation skills (English - spoken and written)
• Proficient use of MS Office applications, AutoCAD
