Organizational Description
Saving Audio is a completely volunteer run environmental group whose goal is to preserve unwanted or inoperable audio electronics items and keep them in re-use, rather than being recycled. Items we receive are tested for operation and assessed for viability or parts purposes. The parts components are retained to potentially get other non-working items functional again. Working items are then freely given to locally created and operated non‑profits to assist them with continuing in their community social functions. Any items considered non‑repairable are donated to the e‑waste program of Equal Opportunities West, an employment agency for the developmentally disabled.
