Allied Universal is seeking Security Guard – Temporary in Toronto, Ontario .

Location : Toronto, ON

Type : Temporary

Pay Rate : $18.77 per hour

Shifts : Monday to Sunday, Various / Overnight, 8AM-6PM to 6PM-6AM

Overview :

Allied Universal is currently seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Security Guard – Temporary to support security operations at a manufacturing and warehousing facility in Toronto, ON . This position is responsible for controlling access at the site’s main gate, ensuring only authorized personnel, contractors, and deliveries enter the facility.

The Security Guard plays a critical role in protecting company assets, maintaining site safety, and supporting compliance within an active industrial environment operating 24 / 7.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Site Surveillance & Patrol : Perform regular patrols of the site and surrounding areas to ensure the security of the premises. Monitor all entry points for unauthorized access.
• Visibility & Coverage : Maintain high visibility at the designated posts. Ensure security coverage near sensitive areas within the site.
• Access Control : Enforce site access protocols by verifying the identification of authorized personnel, logging visitor entry and exit, and ensuring that gates and doors remain securely locked when not in use.
• Communication : Maintain clear and constant communication via radio with other security personnel. Report incidents, unusual activities, or security concerns promptly.
• Emergency Response : Respond quickly and appropriately to any emergencies, including medical incidents, fires, or security breaches. Contact emergency services and assist as necessary.
• Incident Documentation : Maintain accurate logs of all security activities, incidents, and patrols. Complete shift reports and provide detailed handover notes for the next shift.
• Site & Asset Protection : Prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access to site materials and equipment. Ensure all property is secured at all times.
• Compliance with Safety Procedures : Ensure adherence to all safety policies and procedures on-site, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by all personnel.
• General Security Duties : Ensure the overall safety and security of the site and surrounding areas by addressing any security risks or safety concerns that arise during the shift.
