Position Overview
Collaborating within a multidisciplinary healthcare team at CFB Gagetown, this role offers an Occupational Therapist the opportunity to have a direct impact on the health and wellbeing of today's Canadian Armed Forces service members.
Responsibilities
As an Occupational Therapist, you will have the unique opportunity to work exclusively with military service members. Your responsibilities will include : Evaluating and providing treatments for individuals with a wide range of injuries; utilizing education, therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, and ergonomic modifications; and collaborating in the prescription of supportive and protective devices.
Qualifications
- Licensed with the New Brunswick Association of Occupational Therapists - NBAOT
- 1 year of experience working with orthopaedic, musculoskeletal, neurological, pre and post-surgical conditions, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries and / or amputations (adult population)
