Reporting to the Ontario Regional Business Manager (RBM), the Therapeutic Solutions Specialist (TSS) will support the launch a new product (QUVIVIQ) in the insomnia market. Within their assigned territory the TSS will be responsible for bringing about understanding of the role of the drug and its data by clearly articulating product attributes and benefits to specialists, and how this innovation changes patient outcomes versus currently available therapies. The TSS will create partnerships with insomnia thought leaders, establishing a strong network of specialists to understand barriers to optimal insomnia treatment and fostering collaborative action to develop solutions.

With a clear understanding of the specialists’ practices (primarily psychiatry and sleep specialists) , the TSS will develop and implement plans at multiple levels : Individual physician, organized medical team, and for groups of physicians who may share practice types, common barriers or opportunities.

The result is not only to exceed forecast, but to exceed customer expectations by providing differentiated trust and value focused on optimizing patient outcomes.

The TSS doesn’t operate alone. We are establishing a culture of performance and collaboration; It is expected that they will build integrated cross functional plans ( Marketing, Medical, Sales, and Access) to drive overall territory results.

Critical for success will be an individual who owns the business, identifies opportunities, and creates innovative solutions; someone who advocates for the insomnia patient and the local business needs. The successful candidate will have a positive mindset, ability to overcome barriers, and is a strong team player who elevates the entire team. This person is an early adopter of tools and technology and tailors the right tool to the right target, with the right message at the right time.

Job Responsibilities and Duties include, but are not limited to, the following :

• Develop a comprehensive and effective integrated cross-functional (i.e. sales, medical etc…) territory business plan aimed at achieving and exceeding annual goals established by commercial leadership
• Understand how to leverage systems and omni-channel options to apply the full suite of Syneos capabilities to personalize and engage with customers in both face-to-face and virtual environments
• Enable excellent customer experience and customers’ confidence to prescribe medications for appropriate patients
• Develop strong customer relationships and create value for the HCP practice by better understanding the patient journey and customer’s needs
• Within the organization, being an advocate for insomnia patients and effectively communicating the priorities and solutions needed for the organization to invest in.
• Serve as a resource / consultant to customers and staff regarding access to insomnia therapy, product, and guidelines
• Coordinate other learning activities within the territory based on HCP needs and ensuring timely follow-up on attendees to gather feedback
• Promote portfolio within approved labeling in a comprehensive, fair, and ethical manner that is consistent with industry specific and corporate legal and regulatory guidelines
• Communicate territory activity in an accurate and timely manner as directed by management
• Provide feedback and collaborate with sales colleagues, commercial leadership, marketing, and other internal departments about changing environment and results
• Successfully complete all training courses
• Communicate territory activity and administrative duties in an accurate and timely manner as directed by management
• Manage efforts within assigned promotional budget
• Attend medical congresses and society meetings as needed
• Proficient in both virtual and live customer engagements
• Minimal overnight travel as indicated by the needs of the business
• Additional responsibilities as assigned
