Job description2 years of experience in the Garment Industry. Degree in Fashion / Textiles Manufacturing preferred. Must have Driver’s License and Car to work remotely. Strong MS Office skills. Excellent written and verbal English skills. Strong knowledge of garment construction and patternmaking. Understanding manufacturing processes within the garment industry. Understanding of Technical Packages (manuals). Well‑developed communication and interpersonal skills ensuring effective teamwork. Ability to work as both a team player. Position Overview
Canada Goose is a brand built on an iconic lifestyle story. The Quality Assurance Coordinator supports and audits Production Facilities, collects and analyzes data, and shares reports to drive continuous improvement. The role follows Canada Goose’s performance standards, procedures, and audit controls, meeting QA department and business requirements while working autonomously and cross‑functionally.
What You’ll Do
- Use quality expertise to provide technical assistance to manufacturing departments, investigate and provide feedback on quality concerns.
- Monitor production line and inspect critical operations to ensure CG Quality standards are met.
- Work cross‑functionally to solve quality concerns / CAPAs and continuously improve product quality.
- Implement Continuous Improvement projects (Kaizens) across departments to support manufacturing, product development, sales, warranty, customer service, and marketing.
- Audit and release finished goods, ensuring production up to CG standards.
- Inspect and provide improvement suggestions on reference samples and pre‑production samples to stakeholders.
- Collect and analyze inspection data, initiate corrective action reports, and lead meetings to address non‑conformance.
- Ensure the facility follows operator reports and implements quality preventative measures.
- Perform monthly QA audits, metal needle pin management, and down audits per corporate policies and SOPs.
- Provide regular feedback to Quality Leaders regarding garment performance.
- Update and maintain Quality Assurance SOPs, manufacturing processes, manuals, and instructional tools.
- Guide and train inspection work teams to maintain acceptable quality levels. Train Quality Control Inspectors and End of Line Inspectors.
- Take accountability for assigned ad‑hoc projects.
- Communicate with production teams, provide corrective action to improve quality, and update reports.
- Other duties as assigned.
