Architect / Job Captain

Our client, a residential architecture firm located in downtown Toronto, is currently seeking an Architect / Job Captain to add to their team. This is a permanent position, with a salary of $110 - $130K, depending on experience plus a competitive benefits and vacation package. This is a full-time in office position.

Qualifications :

A minimum of 10 years of experience in drawing all aspects of working drawings for multi-family residential projects

A minimum of 10 years of being a job captain

Concrete AND wood frame experience.

A minimum of 10 completed multi-family residential projects (mid-rise and high-rise) in terms of working drawings and construction detailing, in which the individual was at least a job captain.

Should be experienced for site visits and construction administration activities as outlined by the OAA.

Minimum 5 years of professional use of Revit is a MUST.

Be proficient with Ontario Building Code (mainly parts 3 and 9, with emphasis on part 3) with minimum 5 years of hands on experience.

High proficiency of MS Office including Word and Excel

Good communication skills with clients, consultants and officials

The candidate will be solely responsible for working drawings with minimum supervision
