Our client is one of Canada's largest asset based transportation providers and they are currently seeking a Terminal Manager for their GTA facility.
Reporting to : Vice-President of Transport
Role Overview : The Terminal Manager will be responsible for the operational and strategic management of the transport terminal. This role involves supervising a team of 110 drivers and 8 supervisors, ensuring the efficient management of transport operations, safety, performance, and compliance with the company's standards and procedures.
Key Responsibilities :
- Operational Management : Oversee daily transport operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
- Team Management : Lead and manage a team of 110 drivers and 8 supervisors, fostering a positive and productive work environment
- Safety and Compliance : Ensure all operations adhere to safety regulations and company policies
- Performance Monitoring : Track and analyze performance metrics to drive continuous improvement
- Communications & Client Relations : Maintain strong communication channels with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure high levels of satisfaction
