Job description
Our client, a premier leader in technology infrastructure and telecom distribution, is looking for a dynamic and strategic Account Manager to spearhead business growth across Western Canada. In this remote, high-impact role, you will be the driving force behind expanding the company’s footprint in key technical verticals, including colocation services, custom network cabling, power systems, connectivity, and foundational infrastructure solutions. As a pivotal member of the Canadian growth team, you will champion strategic sales initiatives, optimize pipeline velocity, and uncover fresh market opportunities to accelerate regional revenue. If you are a seasoned sales professional with deep roots in the telecommunications and data center ecosystems, this is a remarkable opportunity to own a major territory and elevate Tier 1 and Tier 2 carrier partnerships.

Advantages
Competitive Compensation: Earn a lucrative base salary ranging between $115,000 and $125,000 per year.
Flexible Work Arrangement: Enjoy the autonomy of a fully remote role based anywhere in Western Canada. High-Impact Portfolio: Manage and scale high-value accounts with prominent telecom giants and enterprise clients. Collaborative Culture: Work alongside a dedicated national carrier team with robust multi-departmental support across logistics, engineering, and marketing. Strategic Visibility: Showcase your expertise at major industry conferences and partner events as a recognized subject matter expert.

Responsibilities
Strategic Territory Leadership: Execute targeted sales strategies to expand market share for advanced carrier and network infrastructure solutions throughout Western Canada. Revenue & Pipeline Management: Take ownership of financial forecasting, quota attainment, and the end-to-end management of complex RFP/RFI processes. Executive Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain deep, trusted relationships with Tier 1/2 carriers, general contractors, system integrators, and enterprise leaders. Technical Subject Matter Expertise: Act as the go-to authority on distributed antenna systems (DAS), data center ecosystems, and telecom infrastructure offerings. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with internal engineering, marketing, operations, and logistics teams to ensure seamless client delivery and maximum satisfaction.

Qualifications
Required:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Telecommunications, or a closely related discipline. Industry Experience: 8 to 12+ years of progressive, proven B2B sales success within the telecom, data center, or technical distribution sectors. Track Record: Documented history of leading sales initiatives, optimizing sales cycles, and consistently exceeding multi-million-dollar quotas. Core Competencies: Stellar executive communication, sophisticated negotiation skills, and a comprehensive understanding of data center ecosystems.
Preferred:
Network Background: Existing relationships with global data center operators, major cloud providers, or primary Canadian carriers. Channel Knowledge: Familiarity with distribution channel frameworks and indirect sales models. Language Skills: Bi-lingual capabilities are considered a strong asset. Advanced Education: MBA or an equivalent advanced graduate degree.
