RÉSUMÉ

Dispersa is a start-up specializing in the development of biosurfactants used in various industries, as part of our major mission to decarbonize the chemical industry. We are hiring a formulator to actively participate in the development and optimization of sustainable formulations, contributing to the development of products in the household, industrial, and institutional (HI&I) sectors, using the unique biosurfactants developed by Dispersa.

RESPONSABILITÉS

En tant que formulateur(trice) chez Dispersa, vous serez responsable de :

Formulation de produits

  • Tester et créer des formulations de base en utilisant les biosurfactants de Dispersa pour les produits destinées aux secteurs HI&I afin d'ajouter de la valeur et connaissances à nos clients.
  • Participer à l’optimisation des formulations existantes pour répondre aux spécifications des produits et améliorer leurs performances.

Tests & analyses en laboratoire

  • Effectuer des analyses chimiques et physiques sur des échantillons conformément aux calendriers établis, en suivant les spécifications, méthodes et procédures applicables.
  • Assurer l'exactitude et la traçabilité de toutes les données générées en laboratoire.
  • Vérification des équipements

  • Vérifier la fonctionnalité et l'étalonnage des équipements de laboratoire, en assurant leur conformité aux normes de qualité.
  • Contrôle qualité & rapports

  • Identifier et signaler toute déviation par rapport aux spécifications établies ou toute tendance anormale lors des analyses, et participer à l'enquête sur les irrégularités.
  • Aider à la rédaction de rapports de validation, de procédures opérationnelles normalisées (SOP) et de tout autre document technique associé.
  • Collaboration & développement

  • Collaborer avec les équipes de R&D et de production pour assurer le bon déroulement des processus de développement des produits.
  • Soutenir le responsable du développement des produits dans l’élaboration de nouvelles méthodes analytiques et l’amélioration de celles existantes.
  • QUALIFICATIONS

    Nous recherchons un(e) candidat(e) passionné(e) par la chimie, la formulation et la contribution à des pratiques industrielles durables. Les qualifications incluent :

  • D.E.C. en chimie analytique ou un baccalauréat en chimie.
  • 1 à 2 ans d’expérience dans un environnement de laboratoire lié au contrôle de qualité ou à la formulation.
  • Expérience dans un environnement de Bonnes Pratiques de Laboratoire (BPL).
  • Expérience pratique dans l’analyse en chimie humide.
  • Connaissances en formulation de produits HI&I et d'autres secteurs adjacents.
  • Maîtrise des analyses organoleptiques, pHmétrie, mesure de l'indice de réfraction, détermination de la viscosité, de la gravité spécifique, teneur en eau, spectroscopie IR, centrifugation, etc.
  • Compétences informatiques (Microsoft Office, e-lab).
  • Bilingue (français et anglais), avec de solides compétences en rédaction dans les deux langues.

    OVERVIEW

We are looking for a formulator to actively participate in the development and optimization of sustainable formulations, contributing to the development of products in the household, industrial, and institutional (HI&I) sectors, using the unique biosurfactants developed by Dispersa.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    As the Formulator at Dispersa, you will be responsible for :

    Product Formulation

  • Test and create base formulations using Dispersa's biosurfactants for products intended for the HI&I sectors, in order to add value and knowledge to our clients.
  • Assisting in the optimization of existing formulations to meet product specifications and improve performance.
  • Laboratory Testing & Analysis

  • Performing chemical and physical analysis on samples according to established schedules, following the relevant specifications, methods, and procedures.
  • Ensuring the accuracy and traceability of all data generated in the lab.
  • Equipment Verification

  • Verifying the functionality and calibration of laboratory equipment, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
  • Quality Control & Reporting

  • Identifying and reporting any deviations from established specifications or trends during analysis, and participating in the investigation of irregularities.
  • Assisting in writing validation reports, SOPs, and any related technical documents.
  • Collaboration & Development

  • Collaborating with R&D and Production teams to ensure smooth product development processes.
  • Supporting the Product Development Manager in developing new analytical methods and refining existing ones.
  • QUALIFICATIONS

    We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about chemistry, formulation, and contributing to sustainable industry practices. Qualifications include :

  • Technical D.E.C. in Analytical Chemistry, or a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a laboratory environment related to quality control or formulation.
  • Experience working in a Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) environment.
  • Practical experience in wet chemistry analysis techniques.
  • Knowledge in formulating HI&I and other adjacent sectors.
  • Familiarity with organoleptic analysis, pHmetry, refractive index measurement, viscosity determination, specific gravity determination, moisture content, IR spectroscopy, centrifugation, etc.
  • Computer skills (Microsoft Office, e-lab).
  • Bilingual in French and English, with strong written skills in both languages.
