Our client, a leading importer of clothing for men, women and kids, is looking for an experienced Athleisure Wear Designer (outerwear, yoga, surf and fishing wear) to join their team!
Responsibilities :
- Create, develop and edit detailed technical graphic packages, including detailed technical sketches in Adobe Illustrator and Technical trims
- Create Production artwork Tech packs
- Create CADS for customers
- Strong knowledge of garment constructions from categories such as jersey, fleece, denims.
- Ability to manage changing priorities to keep on track to meet established deadlines
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment and focus on key strategies to support the objectives of the division.
- Work closely with the fit and spec / technical team to ensure the styling and quality from development stage of each product to final production.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar role
- A diploma in Fashion Design
- Bilingualism (English and French) an asset.
- Strong communication skill and organized
- Must be able to work autonomously and with little supervision.
- Be able to work at a fast pace.
- Strong time management skills and work well under pressure, Ability to multitask & meet tight deadlines.
- Must be a team player.
- Strong knowledge of all finishing, technics, fabrics and trims
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop & Microsoft Office in a Mac environment is a must.
