Job descriptionRegulated by the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologist (CMRITO formerly CMRTO) They may be members of a professional association (Sonography Canada), but it is not mandatory. We are looking for candidates who are proficient in operating cardiology equipment, possess strong attention to detail, and can thrive in a fast-paced environment. This full-time position offers a Monday to Friday schedule, with daytime hours typically between 7 : 30 am and 4 : 00 pm. The successful candidate will have the ability to accurately read and interpret results from cardiac data. Position Summary :
As a Cardiology Technologist, you will play a vital role in our cardiology department by performing a variety of cardiovascular tests and procedures to assist in the diagnosis and management of heart disease.
Responsibilities :
- Perform electrocardiograms (ECGs), Holter monitoring, and other cardiovascular tests.
- Conduct stress tests and assist with exercise testing.
- Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and understanding.
- Monitor patients during testing and respond to any emergencies.
- Record and analyze test results, providing accurate data for physician interpretation.
- Maintain and calibrate equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient care.
