In this high-energy position, you’ll act as the market specialist, collaborating closely with sales teams and managing contracts for the protein division. Ensure alignment between supply-side costs and customer commitments while driving strategic buys based on real-time market insights. Your expertise will be key in monitoring trends and risks in inventory to support effective decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
• Make quick purchasing decisions on protein offers
• Assess competitive conditions and market volatility
• Manage inventory risks through data analysis
• Facilitate synergy between sales and supply chain
• Lead customer-side protein contracting efforts
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of experience in protein categories
• Strong understanding of commodity market trends
• Proficiency in pricing and margin analysis
• Excellent collaboration skills with multiple stakeholders
• Tech-savvy; SAP knowledge preferred
