Job descriptionAssist in the setup and operation of packaging equipment, including cartoners, labelers, blister lines, and weigh checkers. Manually assemble trays, master cases, and other secondary packaging components according to work order specifications. Place products into packaging, apply promotional materials or labels, and prepare goods for final shipment. Conduct in-process and final quality checks to ensure product accuracy and compliance with company standards. Open product boxes, cut shrink wrap, and prepare materials for packaging or further processing. Assemble and wrap skids / pallets and move finished goods to designated staging areas using manual hand jacks or similar equipment. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout the shift; remove garbage and recyclables at the end of each order. Accurately complete all required documentation following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and company SOPs. Safely lift and handle materials up to 50 lbs; perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods. Collaborate with team members and perform additional duties as assigned by the Packaging Manager, Supervisor, or Lead Hand. High school diploma (Grade 12) or equivalent. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently during shifts. Proficiency in basic mathematical calculations. Strong communication skills in English and the ability to follow instructions. Physical fitness and endurance for repetitive lifting, bending, and standing. Commitment to reliability and a willingness to learn. Post-secondary certificate in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing. Experience in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes. Candidates must pass an online pre-qualification exam (access to a desktop or laptop computer is required). A minimum 12-month commitment to the position is required before considering internal position changes. Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check. Starting wage : $15.80 - $17.75 per hour. Wages will be increased based on hours of work completed and the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Day Shift : 7 : 00 AM – 3 : 00 PM, Monday-Friday Evening Shift : 3 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM, Monday-Friday (+ $0.80 / hour premium). Night Shift : 11 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM, Sunday-Thursday (+ $1.05 / hour premium). Training may be scheduled on a different shift. Limited public transportation is available; personal transportation is required.

IVC Vita Health is operational 5 days a week, 24 hours per day; candidates with open availability and access to personal transportation for both the evening and nights shifts will be considered before those with limited availability.
