A typical day :
- Responsible to complete the daily inventory run to purchase requisitions for re-stock and work order requirements
- Responsible to source materials for inventory, maintenance and operations utilizing the RFQ process in SAP
- Review and process quotes received from suppliers, including price, delivery, Inco terms, material verification.
- Support the “hot seat” procurement though co-management of a shared procurement email inbox
- Work with planners and other site personnel to gather additional information about requests, as required
- Expedite orders needed in a more timely fashion or that are past due
