About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and strategic Talent Acquisition Specialist to help attract, source, and hire top talent while supporting broader HR initiatives. In this role, you will lead full-cycle recruitment and work on employee engagement, onboarding, and policy implementation to help ASCO build a strong, high-performing workforce.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent.

Promote ASCO’s employer brand through recruitment marketing and networking.

Manage full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring.

Lead onboarding programs to ensure a smooth new hire transition.

Support employee engagement and retention initiatives to enhance workplace culture.

Assist with HR policies and best practices, ensuring compliance with labour laws.

HR Generalist duties and responsibilities.

What You Bring :

5+ years in talent acquisition or HR generalist roles.

Bachelor’s degree (or diploma) in Human Resources Management or related field.

CHRP designation preferred.

Bilingual in English & French (oral and written) is required.

Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and social media recruiting tools.

Knowledge of labour laws, employment standards, and unionized environments.

Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, MS Teams, & Outlook).
