Job descriptionBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a sustainability role. Strong understanding of sustainability practices, policies, and regulations. Proven track record of successfully implementing sustainability programs and initiatives. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis software. Passionate about promoting sustainability and making a positive impact on the environment. Job Summary :
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sustainability Manager to join our team at Brecks Group. As the Sustainability Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing sustainability strategies and initiatives across all areas of our organization. Your role will be crucial in setting our sustainability goals, developing plans to achieve them, and fostering a culture of sustainability throughout the company.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement sustainability policies, strategies, and initiatives for the organization.
- Monitor and track the company’s carbon footprint and identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct research and stay updated on the latest sustainability trends, practices, and regulations.
- Work closely with various departments to ensure sustainability is integrated into all business operations.
- Collaborate with suppliers and partners to promote sustainability practices and encourage sustainable sourcing.
- Communicate and report on the progress of sustainability goals and initiatives to stakeholders within the company and externally.
- Develop and oversee employee training programs to promote a culture of sustainability within the company.
- Work with marketing and communications teams to promote and raise awareness of the company’s sustainability efforts to customers and the community.
