Merger & Acquisitions Researcher - Business Development

CSU acquires and operates hundreds of industry-specific software businesses in more than 150 niche verticals (e.g. software for homebuilders dealerships clinics specialty retailers real estate brokers). With over 100000 customers in over 30 countries and a proven track record of consistent growth we are establishing a broad portfolio of software businesses to provide our customers and shareholders with exceptional returns.
Responsibilities :
Exciting opportunity to learn more about M&A from the top strategic acquirer of software companies. Assisting the M&A / Business Development team with one or more of the following projects :
Contacting potential acquisition targets (phone email LinkedIn) to schedule meetings with our M&A team
Organizing regional prospecting trip(s) for the M&A Directors and General managers
Identification and addition of acquisition targets to our proprietary database from trade show lists and other online resources
Evaluation acquisition targets within the existing database (primarily based on LinkedIn website and limited online research available on private companies) and update our proprietary database
Other Adhoc research and projects
Industry Knowledge
Evaluation of vertical market software companies but industry experience not required
Financial Analysis
Determination of appropriate company life cycle stage
Classification of the company based on ideal acquisition characteristics
