This is a part‑time, on‑site role located in the Greater Winnipeg Metropolitan Area for an Event Planner. The Event Planner will be responsible for organizing and managing professional events, conferences, and workshops. Key duties include coordinating event logistics, managing budgets, liaising with vendors and stakeholders, and ensuring the success of various events. Additional responsibilities include fostering partnerships, maintaining event schedules, and providing post‑event evaluation and feedback to improve future events.
Qualifications
- Proven skills in Event Planning and Event Management to organize and execute successful professional gatherings
- Proficiency in budgeting and resource allocation to manage event finances effectively
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders, vendors, and attendees
- Experience in sales, sponsorship acquisition, and partnership development
- Detail‑oriented with excellent organizational and time‑management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, team‑oriented environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field is an asset
