Staffmax is assisting our client in hiring a highly organized and proactive Supply Chain Coordinator for a 6-month contract. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring the seamless movement of goods, materials, and information throughout the supply chain. It’s an ideal opportunity for someone with strong coordination skills and a background in logistics or distribution.
Contract Length : 6 Months
Location : Vancouver, BC
Key Responsibilities :
Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including scheduling pickups and deliveries
Communicate with carriers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure logistics efficiency
Track and monitor shipments, addressing any delays or issues that arise
Maintain accurate inventory and shipping records in logistics systems and databases
Prepare shipping documents, customs forms, and related paperwork
Support production and warehouse teams by aligning logistics with operational needs
Identify opportunities to improve cost-effectiveness and process efficiency
Qualifications :
Prior experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain coordination
Proficiency in logistics and inventory management software
Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general office software
Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
