Overview

Job Skills / Requirements

As a Camp Security Guard, you play a key role in creating a safe and secure environment for all camp employees, contractors, and visitors. You will be responsible for monitoring access, conducting patrols, responding to incidents, and ensuring all site policies and safety procedures are followed. This is a casual position.

Responsibilities

  • Control site access and verify all personnel entering/exiting the camp
  • Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols
  • Maintain detailed daily reports, incident logs, and documentation
  • Respond to emergencies, alarms, and onsite safety concerns
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and camp staff
  • Uphold Paladin’s high standards of professionalism, integrity, and presentation

Requirements

  • Valid BC Security Worker License
  • Advance First Aid Training (OFA 3) or willing to complete the training
  • Reliable vehicle and driver’s license to reach the camp site
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in remote camp settings
  • Physically able to complete foot patrols and work in various weather conditions
  • Reliability, professionalism, and a calm approach to problem-solving
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Strong communication and situational awareness

Education Requirements (All)

High School Diploma/GED
